However, moving forward with their own individual ambitions and preferences, both of their lives undergo many events and changes.

The book starts off when both Rosie and Alex are seven years old and spans into their fifties. The author has beautifully portrayed the way their relationship grew over years. Various kinds of events, like weddings, births, and deaths pass by their lives, and these are interwoven between a multitude of the novel’s characters. Published by Harper in 2008, Where Rainbows End is available as paperback.
